| Event Description: | This is a general weather course that includes topics of particular interest to boaters. It is designed to be taught in 10 sessions with a closed book exam at the end. Topics include: what causes weather; why winds blow, fog forms, and precipitation falls; storms; what clouds tell us; how modern forecasts are produced, and how to get up-to-date forecasts. |
