Boating is fun..........We'll show you how!
DELAWARE RIVER POWER SQUADRON
is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons® and is one of the first local units of the national organization.
Formally chartered in 1916, just two years after USPS was formed, Delaware River Power Squadron has been serving our nation and region, in war and in peace, with safe boating, navigation, environmental and other programs for its members, members of the boating public generally and for our armed forces.
We are in District 5 of USPS and serve the boating public, sail and power, throughout the Delaware Valley, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, with members as far west as the Susquehanna Valley and as far south as Florida. Members operate sailboats and power boats on the Delaware River, at the New Jersey shore and on Chesapeake Bay, among others.
Our meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month other than July and August at the United States Coast Guard Station at Washington Avenue and Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia.
